LA-based creative collective Brain Dead has once again joined forces with adidas, delivering an inventive yet animal-print-heavy spin on the Samba silhouette. Comprising two striking iterations, spanning “Cheetah” and “Snakeskin,” the collaboration reinvents the classic indoor football sneaker through the lens of archival bowling footwear and maximalist animal prints.
Both pairs feature premium textile uppers with exaggerated bowling‑style overlays, blending adidas’ heritage silhouette with Brain Dead’s playful, disruptive design ethos. The “Cheetah” edition showcases a spotted pattern across the faux-hair upper, with cream-colored Three-Stripes that contrast the glossy black leather heel, tongue and sole.
Similarly, the “Snakeskin” version also features cream striped overlays and black leather details, while its title pattern arrives in a textured, faux-snake skin effect. Branding is kept sharp and with co‑branded tongue tags and Brain Dead’s signature graphics integrated into the design.
