Oi Polloi & Reebok Drop Workout Clean Inspired by Brits Abroad
With a Morocco-based lookbook.
Oi Polloi and Reebok have announced the duo will come together release another collaborative sneaker, this time reworking the Reebok Workout Clean MU. After a four-year hiatus, the UK-based retailer has taken the vintage silhouette and given it a premium update, seeing an upper made from smooth chalk white leather.
The collaboration is a result of Oi Polloi co-founder Nigel Lawson‘s trip to Reebok’s Boston think-tank in 2018. Inspired by the trip, Oi Polloi delivers a clean retro look inspired by traditional Reebok color schemes such as the tennis-green branding, cream leather and a contrasting gum sole unit.
The Reebok Workout Clean sees the rainbow-themed Oi Polloi branding feature on the insole and the tongue tab, and is finished with classic Reebok branding on the heel tab.
The Manchester and Soho-based retailer spotlights its latest collaboration in a trip to Morocco, resulting in a lookbook that highlights the shoe in stark contrast to its surroundings. Referencing 1980s casuals and ‘Brits abroad, you can watch the editorial below and take a closer look at the shoe in the gallery above.
The pair will retail for £95 GBP (approx. $125 USD) and will release online and in Oi Polloi stores on April 16 at 10 AM GMT+1.
