This Air Max 98 Looks Like a Desert Sunset
Where a purple-to-orange sky sets above sandy dunes.

Pairing with a Tailwind 4 that was previewed earlier in the month, Nike‘s newest Air Max 98 is set to receive a desert-themed colorway.
The sneaker is layered with “Light Cream” and “Desert Ore” panels that wrap around the sneaker, leaving the rich “Court Purple” and orange hues to brighten up the upper. Details include a suede mudguard from toe to heel, bold orange at each pull tab, and a deep shade of purple at the Swoosh and “Air” logos. Finishing it all off is the brand’s signature Air sole unit, which showcases a final pop of the vivid orange.
In the end, the sneaker seems to take inspiration from desert sunsets, where the purple-to-orange gradient sky sets above sandy dunes.
Priced at €180 EUR (approximately $200 USD), Nike’s Air Max 98 “Desert Ore” is expected to drop on May 25 at retailers such as sivasdescalzo.
