Nike Air Max 1 "Fresh Mint" Harnesses Patta AM1 Aesthetics
An appealing blend of lime green and grey.
Nike’s Air Max 1 has received a variety of covetable colorways over the years, including a particularly rare makeover courtesy of Patta. Offered as part of the label’s 5th anniversary celebration in 2009, the hard-to-come-by runner now resells for over four figures — for those seeking a more accessible option, Nike has introduced a similarly-toned take on the classic runner.
Offered in “Fresh Mint,” this variation of the Air Max 1 boasts similar colors and textures to the iconic Patta design. Grey leather and mesh above mingle with a lime green suede mudguard, yielding spring-ready tones. A white midsole also mimics the Patta original, though a light Swoosh distinguishes this model. Grey laces and white rear branding further separate the two silhouettes, though an alternating black, white and green outsole justify comparisons.
The Air Max 1 “Fresh Mint” is currently available from 43einhalb’s web store for €134.95 EUR (approximately $150 USD).
Recently, we scoped the Air Max 270 in a vibrant black/white/red makeup.
