Nike Unveils New Models With Women's Summer 2019 Footwear Collection
Innovation meets sustainability.

Nike Women’s footwear is gearing up for warmer temperatures with the announcement of its Summer 2019 collection. Following the “Plant Color Collection” and the Steve Harrington-designed “Earth Day Pack” highlights, the upcoming exclusive styles are products of unisex sizing and the brand’s approach to sustainability in fashion.
Innovating a plethora of silhouettes ranging from the Air Force 1 to the Air Max 720, Senior Creative Director Georgina James spotlighted the collection’s high points on Nike News. Starting off with its biggest sustainability stand, she reveals that the VaporMax 2 “Random’s” Air-Sole is 75% recycled. While utility is accentuated on the Air Max Box made for boxing workouts, the ZoomX Vista Grind, Air Max FF720 and VaporMax Flyknit 2 LXX Swarovski have carved new paths for sneaker designs in the years to come.
Colorways for Nike’s popular pairs such as the React Element 55, Air Max Dia and Air Max Plus to name a few have also been updated as part of the collection. Check out the official imagery above and keep an eye out for the Summer 2019 collection’s release dates and prices on nike.com.
