visvim is back with its latest FW19 piece of outerwear, following its Black Friday capsule with a new military-inspired jacket — the Wright Field Parka.
Coming in muted khaki and olive colorways, the jackets are made from a special cotton-nylon blend and have been mud-dyed for a weathered look. Dark brown fur trims the edges of the collar and hood, complemented by adjustable drawstrings at the front. The central closure is lined with black water buffalo horn buttons, with two sets of pockets on each side: a pair of elongated chest compartments and two welt pockets at the waist. At the hemline are two cinch cords, while hidden ribbed cuffs are tucked under the sleeves. As a finishing note, the back of the jacket is emblazoned with three red strips of vintage bandanas over a large beige patch where Americana-inspired motifs are etched alongside the words “THIS IS THE LIFE.”
