Todd Snyder and New Balance Release M997 Inspired by Upstate New York
Recalling the rich colors of Hudson, NY.

After the pastel-drenched 997 “LOVE” sneaker in June, Todd Snyder and New Balance are back again with another colorful footwear collaboration. Utilizing New Balance’s elevated Made in USA 997 silhouette, the duo have now offered up a richly-colored iteration of the shoe inspired by Snyder’s days in Hudson, NY.
The upper is comprised of tumbled bison leather, chemical-free vegetable-tanned leather, and pigskin suede for a premium look and feel. Taking references from the scenery around Hudson, the paneling is featured in shades of burgundy, lavender, peach and azure, recalling the bricks of the train station, the foliage throughout the city and the main avenue of Warren Street. It’s finished off with New Balance’s trademark ENCAP midsole in crisp white for a clean contrast.
The Todd Snyder x New Balance M997 is priced at $235 USD and available now at Todd Snyder’s stores and Todd Snyder’s website.
Elsewhere for Snyder, the designer recently teamed up with Clarks for a textile-heavy capsule of Wallabees in collaboration with Bodega.
