UNDEFEATED & Nike Finally Unveil Full Air Max 90 Collection and Release Date
Eight colorways will be available.

First revealed — and originally slated to drop — earlier this summer, UNDEFEATED and Nike‘s collaborative Air Max 90s have finally received an official release date. Hitting shelves in eight new and previously seen colorways, each design is inspired by ’90s motorcross jackets — a staple in the ’90s New York hip-hop scene, one of UNDEFEATED’s key influences.
Each pair in the collection calls upon a premium leather construction, dressed in either white or black. This simple and supple base is used as a canvas for vivid accents, which are presented in four colors: infrared, aqua blue, green and yellow. Each embellishment nods to the shoe’s key design pieces, namely the double-layered mudguard and the UNDEFEATED five-strike logo on the rubberized heel badge. More pops of color appear on the tongue tag, custom lace deubres and directly around the midsole’s Air Max unit.
Despite the fact that the infrared and aqua blue-accented pairs were originally supposed to hit the market this summer, both were held up due to quality control issues. Limited quantities were made available through region-exclusive SNKRS Stash drops, but the collection never received a full release. However, that may be for the better as both brands’ supporters certainly have no shortage of colorway options this time around.
The entire UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 90 collection will release via UNDEFEATED on December 27, with the black/red and white/yellow styles also available in kids and infants sizes. Select pairs will also arrive on Nike SNKRS come December 30. The MSRP is set at $150 USD.
Looking ahead, 2020 marks the Air Max 90’s 30th anniversary, so Nike is bringing back OG colorways like the “Volt” to celebrate.
