Todd Snyder and New Balance Ring in Pride Month With 997 "LOVE"
A cheerful blend of pastels and rainbow embroidery.
With plenty of appreciably premium New Balance collaborations already under his belt, Todd Snyder keeps them coming, this time with a special release tied into Pride Month. A limited edition New Balance 997 is on hand, appropriately dubbed “LOVE.”
Executed in a summery mish-mash of pastel tones, the 997 “LOVE” incorporates hues like “White Peach,” “Cedar Quartz” and “Copper Rose” across a variety of premium suede panels on the upper. A white and beige midsole sits atop a grey outsole for a muted complement to the lush shades above, with some darker brown tones on the ankle. Thematic detailing comes by way of the rainbow-toned branding on the ankle and tongue, Snyder’s tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising.
