After weeks of teasing, PLEASURES is finally gearing up to release its Joy Division x Converse Chuck 70s collaboration. Continuing the Los Angeles label’s partnership with the estate of Joy Division and Warner Music UK, the shoe is a celebration of the 40th-anniversary of Unknown Pleasures.

Limited to 150 pairs, the upper of the shoe is constructed of black canvas to mimic the background of the iconic album with “PLEASURES” branding accompanying the All-Star motif on the medial side. Boldly marking the simple upper is a Factory Records designer and iconic graphic artist Peter Saville‘s cover art for Unknown Pleasures to honor the seminal elements of the 1979 album that has influenced generation after generation of creatives and continues to dynamically prove its instructive legacy. Additional decorative details come in the form of tonal stitching, metal eyelets and matching flat laces. Rounding up the design of the collaboration is an Ortholite insole, black toe cap and heel badge marked black sole unit.

Take a look at the Joy Division x PLEASURES by Converse Chuck 70s about and look for the collaboration to release exclusively at 424 December 13.
