Nike Air Max 720 Receives "Metallic Silver/Cosmic Clay" Treatment
Glossy gradients.
Following UNDERCOVER and Nike‘s collaborative Air Max 720, the American footwear giant has returned with a new iteration of the silhouette. The futuristic shoes have been rendered in “Metallic Silver/Cosmic Clay” this time around, glossing shiny silver-tone applications over a bevy of details.
Starting at the top of the sneakers, rubber “AIR MAX” patch logos are stamped at the upper tongue, set above a breathable metallic gray mesh foundation that appears throughout most of the body. Just at the inner collars, black neoprene padding matches sleek round laces that cover the forefoot, complemented by a red mini-Swoosh placed just under where the laces end. To contrast the angular mesh outlines along the body, quilted metallic panels appear at the heel counter and the sidewall, while thin tonal overlays are placed at the toe cap. All of these details sit atop a full-length Air unit midsole that offers 360 degrees of impact-friendly cushioning, finished off with vivid silver-black gradations.
The Nike Air Max 720 “Metallic Silver/Cosmic Clay” is currently available at atmos-tokyo.com for $166 USD.
