Cactus Plant Flea Market Tacks Tube Socks Onto Brightly-Colored Hoodies

After releasing its collaboration with Kid Cudi, Cynthia Lu‘s Cactus Plant Flea Market has returned with a set of bright new hoodies in time for the holiday season — the “Sock Hooded Pullover.” The design recalls some CPFM creations from last year, wherein the conscious label playfully upcycled vintage Nike socks by stitching them to the front of layering pieces and pants.
Each piece comes in vivid pop colors of violet and red, offset by retro cream-colored tube socks that have been sewn over the front. The hoodies see a boxy fit with a slight drop at its shoulders, complemented by elongated drawstrings that hang all the way down to the lower half of the garment. At the upper chest, “CPFM” is emboldened in black, while the foot of the socks extend slightly past the top of the kangaroo pocket. As a finishing note, ribbing at the cuffs and hemline has been shortened to emphasize the silhouette’s baggy cut.
