adidas Stadt Releases In Holiday-Themed "Scarlet/Glow Green"
Accompanied by a tropical “Active Teal/Flash Orange” style.
The soccer-inspired adidas Stadt presents a clean look with its slim shape and retro materials, and now it’s arrived in two new colorways: “Scarlet/Glow Green” and “Active Teal/Flash Orange.” The former is representative of the Yuletide while the latter is more of a nod to escaping winter’s dreary climate by way of a tropical vacation, but both present a bold heritage look.
Almost Grinch-esque in its color palette, the “Scarlet/Glow Green” equips a sultry red suede upper, but prevents things from getting too spicy with cool green accents on the tongue, Three Stripe branding and sockliner. Meanwhile, the “Active Teal/Flash Orange” uses a calm aquatic teal hue for its primary color with pops of vibrant orange serving as contrast. Each pair also features a gold foil stamp on the lateral midfoot, an insole with a repeating logo print and a trim gum outsole with a classic circular traction pattern.
Stadts have been enjoying a subtle revival of sorts, as a special “Södermalm” makeup was recently used to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Sneakersnstuff‘s original Stockholm, Sweden location. We’ll likely see more in-line models as the season progresses as well.
adidas’s webstore currently has stock of the “Scarlet/Glow Green” and “Active Teal/Flash Orange” styles, with each pair retailing at $110 USD.
