Nearly two months after the release of her official remix of Daniel Caesar’s “CYANIDE” record, Koffee is linking up with Gunna for a new single of her own, “W.” Notably, “W” also boasts a visual component that was put together by award-winning director Matt Baron.

“‘W’ is all about encouraging people to focus on the Wins and not the Losses, to not forget to live their best life and to always remember to give thanks,” Koffee shares in an official statement. “Big up to the whole team: production, the label and special thanks to Gunna for blessing the track with his feature!”

“If I’m about to drop a new song or a new project, nobody is sure what direction I’m going to go in based on where I started,” Koffee told us earlier this year, revealing some insight into her creative process for an April 2019 interview. “When [I] get a track first, I sit and I kind of just get in my zone and listen to it over and over again and just feel how best I think suits the track and [I] try to complement it in the best way possible. Lyrics will come to me at times. I would probably [be] walking and something hit my head and once I have a chance I will write it in my phone.”

You can take a look at the new music video for Koffee and Gunna’s collaborative single “W” above.

Towards the end of last month, Gunna teamed up with Roddy Ricch for “Start Wit Me.”
