Griselda Drops New Menacing Single "Chef Dreds"
Off the label’s forthcoming album, ‘W.W.C.D.’
Griselda Records have shared their latest offering “Chef Dreds,” a fresh cut off the label’s upcoming album W.W.C.D. The followup to last month’s “DR. BIRD’S,” the Shady Records co-signees — composed of founder Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine and Benny the Butcher — go back and forth over a menacing Beat Butcha and Daringer-produced beat, complimenting each rapper’s distinct flow as they band together to become “the upper echelon of the hard rappers.”
With W.W.C.D. expected to drop soon, Conway the Machine is confident in the impact of the forthcoming project. “We all involved with it equally, 100 percent. Me, West and Benny is on every song rapping. Daringer produced every beat, him and Beat Butcha. It’s actually like a real, authentic, all-around Griselda project. There’s no other producers, no other nothing,” he said in a recent interview. “[We] was in the studio for three days and made this album. It’s the illest shit niggas going to hear for the year. Album of the year, hands down.”
