Danger Mouse's Unreleased Track 'Ninjarous' Features MF DOOM and Sparklehorse
It also features percussions from The Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney.
Danger Mouse returns with a new collaboration following the release of his Lux Prima album, and this time the artist will rejoin forces with MF DOOM and Sparklehorse in the formerly unreleased track “Ninjarous.”
According to 2dopeboyz, Danger Mouse recently stated: “Mark [Linkous] and I worked on a lot of music together. But it was the song that he and I wrote and recorded with MF DOOM that really resonated with him. It was one of his favorites, so I’m happy to have this opportunity to pay tribute to him by getting it out there.”
The track comes from Danger Mouse’s upcoming 30th Century Records compilation, 30th Century Volume 2. The song was originally meant to appear on Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse’s late member Mark Linkous’ collaborative project before his untimely passing. It also showcases percussion work from The Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney.
