Barcelona Launches Fourth Kit for the 2019/20 Season
Inspired by the Catalan flag.
After unveiling a retro-inspired third kit earlier this fall, La Liga powerhouse Barcelona have now launched a special fourth kit for the current 2019/20 season.
The latest kit takes on the same familiar colors of the Catalan flag, the Senyera, seeing as the majority of the top is dressed in yellow and features four contrasting red stripes that run diagonally across the chest. Nike‘s insignia, Barça’s celebrated club badge and the team’s main sponsorship logo round out the design. The same yellow and red colorway translates down to the shorts and socks. Barcelona and Nike are launching the new kits with the tagline, “Ho portem dins” (It’s deep within us), which relates to the club’s history and roots.
Sergi Roberto stars in the promo where he shares, “It is an honour to wear the flag, the four stripes, on the shirt.” Barça’s fourth kit will be worn during certain league fixtures this season.
Barcelona’s 2019/20 fourth kit will be sold exclusively at Barça Stores starting today. A wider release will follow next week at Nike retailers, nike.com and select outlets.
