By Walid Releases Upcycled Patchwork Tricot Hayden Jackets
Highlighting its characteristic use of antique fabrics and sashiko embroidery.
Riotous high fashion upstart and textile upcycler By Walid has crafted a set of vintage-tinged Patch Tricot Hayden Jackets using its characteristic patchwork style and sashiko embroidery. Offered up in two variations, “Pink-Multi” and “Yellow-Multi,” the hoodies utilize the Japanese decorative stitching throughout, whereby patched pieces of hand-picked antique fabrics have been stitched together for a vibrantly casual look.
Detail-wise, the pieces feature an adjustable hood with drawstring, front zip closure, and hand pockets at the front, further finished with an elasticated waistband and cuffs. Both garments have been fully crafted in England using wool for the outer and smooth silk for the pieces’ lining.
You can check out both Patch Tricot Hayden Jackets via the gallery above. They are currently available via H. Lorenzo’s webstore with a retail price set at $2,459 USD.
