Desiigner has shared a music video for his newest single, “DIVA.” The trippy visual, mainly tinted in hues of purple and pink, sees the rapper driving over to Las Vegas to enjoy the company of women in the privacy of his own mansion.

The music video parallels a certain freedom Desiigner has received creatively, seeing as this is his first visual without the stamp of G.O.O.D. Music, Def Jam Recordings, or Universal Music. The rapper promoted the release of the single in a now-deleted tweet where he wrote, “Feels Good To Be Free! New Visual Out Tomorrow!”

Following the drop of “DIVA,” Desiigner took to Instagram Live to clarify rumors regarding his current label situation. “Ain’t nobody drop me, I asked for my release,” he explained. “The only label I’m on right now is L.O.D.”

Earlier in October 2019, Desiigner’s full-length album entitled F*ck G.O.O.D. surfaced on SoundCloud and featured the likes of French Montana, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Quavo, Swae Lee and more. This led many to believe that the rapper leaked his own work to open up about his frustrations with Kanye West‘s label that he was signed to since 2016.

Elsewhere in music, FKJ has released his newest EP, Ylang Ylang.
