Q Da Fool Taps Maxo Kream & Hit-Boy for Blistering New Cut "Playoffs"
Featuring an eerie instrumental from the West Coast beatsmith.
The DMV is seeing a riotous hip-hop expansion with the locale flying onto the musical map as of late due to the bevy of new wave rap talent the area has blossomed over the past several years. Of these is Maryland’s Q Da Fool, who has returned with a brand new single entitled “Players” following his recent Kenny Beats-produced Bad Influence project. The new cut taps Houston’s Maxo Kream for a brawling verse, with production coming from West Coast’s Hit-Boy.
The Roc Nation-signed artist’s latest track continues to showcase the two rappers’ unmatched energy, bringing forth Jordan-tinged poetics while exhibiting the street life both grew up around. Production-wise, Hit-Boy opts for a creeping beat backdrop, whereby eerie piano chords are contrasted by blistering 808s.
