(Sandy) Alex G Goes Through a Near-Death Experience in "In My Arms" Visual
A cut off his recent album, ‘House of Sugar.’
(Sandy) Alex G has dropped off a visual for “In My Arms,” a cut off his recent album, House of Sugar. Directed by Zev Magasis, the music video sees the singer-songwriter and a friend enjoying a fun night out reminiscent of our youth — making a little bit of money in a casino, driving to a boardwalk in a lavish limousine, and going for a night dip.
Everything goes well until Alex G nearly drowns, forcing his friends to perform CPR on him. He survives at the end of the video and the situation becomes a good laugh for him and his friends, reminding us of those nights that luckily turned out to be good memories instead of tragic scenarios.
As Alex G continues to promote House of Sugar, he’ll be playing a sold-out NYC show at Brooklyn Steel on November 14 and will conclude the U.S. leg in his hometown of Philadelphia on November 30. He’ll hit the road once again in February 2020, crossing the pond to appear in the U.K. and Europe.
