Jordan Brand Crafts Air Jordan 34 PE for CBA Star Guo Ailun
The Chinese basketball star’s second PE in less than a year.

Star Chinese point guard and Jordan Brand team member Guo Ailun has recieved his second Air Jordan PE: a crisp Air Jordan 34. Ailun first signed with the Jumpman in 2017 and was presented with his first PE — an Air Jordan 33 — this April. Affectionately known by some fans as the “Chinese Allen Iverson,” Ailun is a fearless point guard for the Liaoning Flying Leopards of the CBA, and the AJ34 provides the performance he needs to support his aggressive on-court style.
Where Ailun’s first PE used a traditional teal as the base and white for the accents, this style opts for the inverse. It presents a crisp white base that’s embellished with jade hits on the underlays, trim and sockliner, plus a tonal animal print on the heel. Black laces add dark contrast to the light-hued upper, while chromed-out silver detailing appers on both the tongue and heel’s branded hits. Of special note is the right shoe’s heel, which trades out the standard Jumpman graphic for the guard’s signature “G” motif.
Down below, the midsole features a new-jack Eclipse Plate dressed in teal, designed to provide support and increase explosiveness. It houses a jade Zoom Air unit in the forefoot as well, the back of which which pokes through the cored-out midfoot. A white herringbone outsole with final pops of teal completes the look.
Ailun is coming off his best CBA season yet, despite being swept in the Finals: he averaged 23 points, 6 assists and 5 rebounds a game, and finished as a runner-up in the MVP voting.
Ailun’s new AJ34s are set to release exclusively at Nike China on November 13. The MSRP is set at ¥1,500 (approximately $214 USD).
