After sharing its plans to expand into the Japanese market with a physical store earlier this year, Sneakersnstuff has now confirmed a Tokyo outpost will arrive by the end of 2019.

The Stockholm-based sneaker store announced it’s expanding to the city in a pair of cheeky Instagram videos posted to its new Tokyo store account. In the first clip, a bootleg karaoke-styled video can be seen while the lyrics state “the opening of Sneakersnstuff Tokyo is near.” In the second clip, which takes on a similar vibe as a Japanese game show, a young girl is spotlighted taking a bite out of an Air Force 1. “It’s Real. Sneakersnstuff is coming to Tokyo,” then flashes on the screen.

Tokyo will be the seventh city for Sneakersnstuff, joining Los Angeles, New York, Berlin, Paris, London, and of course, Stockholm. SNS celebrated its 20th anniversary earlier this year by opening a flagship in LA. Keep it locked here as more details surface.
