Following a short delay, Kanye West returned to Jimmy Kimmel Live! to perform “Closed on Sunday” off his new album Jesus Is King.

Part of Kimmel’s ongoing run of shows in Brooklyn, the performance comes after an initial announcement which saw ‘Ye come on the show last week. Taking over The Oculus in New York City, a gospel choir dressed in blue-tinged uniforming circled around Kanye and a limited band to offer a live rendition of “Closed on Sunday.” The ode to Christianity and Chick-fil-A began with a highlight on the cacophonous droning rhythm mixed with the live vocals leading into Kanye’s pointed lines. As the song picks up more of the choir joins in to round out the standout track off Jesus Is King.
