Big K.R.I.T. Shares New Music Video for "M.I.S.S.I.S.S.I.P.P.I."
The ‘K.R.I.T. IZ HERE’ finale is brought to life as a visual.
Back in July, Big K.R.I.T. delivered 19 new tracks as part of his latest full-length release, K.R.I.T. IZ HERE. Alongside collaborations with Lil Wayne, J. Cole, Saweetie, Yella Beezy and others, one of that LP’s early highlights was its closing cut, “M.I.S.S.I.S.S.I.P.P.I.” Now, revisiting the K.R.I.T. IZ HERE finale, the down-south lyricist is back with a new music video in support of it. Notably, K.R.I.T.’s new visual for the aforementioned record features directorial work from child., with production duties handled by Bychild, Rhea Shannon and Unique James.
“Whether I sell a million now or a million 15 years from now, it’s still going to equate to the worth that it deserves,” Big K.R.I.T. shared with us during a September edition of our MIC/LINE podcast series. “We get so caught up in that first week sale and everything else doesn’t matter when it’s supposed to.Maybe you heard it, and you weren’t in the right space to digest what I was saying. It might take you ten years, and you finally get it. You’re not going to immediately get it— finding the patience to digest, pay attention and observe what somebody had to go through to create that.”
