'Rick and Morty' Coming To An All Elite Wrestling Live Show
Tying in with the brand’s Halloween episode.

Adult Swim‘s hit animated series Rick and Morty are set to make an appearance on TNT‘s new wrestling program All Elite Wrestling. Reportedly, the cartoon duo will somehow be part of AEW Dynamite‘s upcoming live show October 30 at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
Although it hasn’t been explained at what capacity the two will play during the event, AEW’s founder Cody Rhodes revealed in a tweet that everyone in attendance will receive Rick and Morty masks just in time for Halloween. This marks one of the company’s first cross-promotions, following the lead of other wrestling brands, such as WCW’s cross-promotion with Chucky from Child’s Play and WWE alongside Mike Tyson.
Since Rick and Morty are owned by Warner Bros.‘ Turner Entertainment subsidiary, and AEW has already worked with other franchises under the WarnerMedia umbrella — including DC Comics — many speculate further collaborations with the two could occur in the future.
