KAWS’ "HE EATS ALONE" Marks First Exhibition in Middle East
Taking place at the Fire Station Museum in Doha, Qatar.
Following his “COMPANIONSHIP IN THE AGE OF LONELINESS” presentation at NGV Melbourne, KAWS now launches his first solo exhibition entitled “HE EATS ALONE” in the middle east. Taking place at the Garage Gallery in Doha’s Fire Station Museum, the prominent artist displays over 40 significant pieces spanning abstract paintings, large-scale Companion sculptures, and commercial collaborations such as sneakers, skateboards, and toys. Highlights include a giant five-meter-tall sculpture called ‘COMPANION (PASSING THROUGH)’ made by KAWS in 2013 and his inflatable 40-meter public artwork ‘HOLIDAY’ (2019) floating at the Dhow Harbour.
