Patta x Timex Release Military-Inspired "Time is Money" Watch
Currency symbols decorate the face of the dial.
Following recent collaborations with Stüssy and Carhartt WIP, Amsterdam-based label Patta is moving beyond apparel collections to focus on classic timepieces. Teaming up with Timex for a “Time is Money” watch, the two brands blend utilitarian details with a sturdy field-tested design.
Sporting a black dial, MK1 face and grosgrain strap, the new Patta x Timex piece features a Patta script logo and INDIGLO Night-Light technology. The military-inspired watch comes in a black colorway with white, gold and orange detailing, showcasing contemporary updates to a traditional design. Water resistant up to 50 meters and accompanied by a stainless steel case, the timepiece is a durable option for everyday wear. Bold currency symbols, featuring the dollar, pound, euro and yen, adorn the face of the dial, posing the question, “How can we make these passing moments as valuable as possible?”
The “Time is Money” watch is available now at Patta stores in London, Milan and Amsterdam, as well as online on Patta and Timex’s website for $130 USD. A co-branded Patta x Timex bandana comes with every purchase.
Elsewhere, Citizen collaborated with Star Wars for a selection of limited-edition watches inspired by the film’s most iconic characters.
