Marvel Announces New RPG 'Realm of Champions' Mobile Game
Teased at this year’s New York Comic-Con.
Marvel Entertainment and Kaban revealed at this year’s New York Comic-Con its follow-up title to Marvel Contest of Champions, a real-time mobile RPG called Marvel Realm of Champions.
The footage above showcases several characters being transported to Battleworld, where its uneasy peace is disrupted by the death of Maestro, the God-King. Now with the alliances between the Houses (based on characters Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America, X-Men, and more) shattered, players must join forces with one of the Houses to dominate the globe by fighting and collecting resources.
Players will be able to team up with friends for real-time arena combat against enemies and other players for dominance of Battleworld through respective Houses. New York Comic-Con attendees can learn more about Marvel Realm of Champions at the Marvel Games panel on October 4 at 12 PT / 3 pm ET.
