The rapid box office run includes $449 million USD earned domestically and $706.3 million USD internationally. Along the way, the film has broken multiple theatrical benchmarks, generating the highest-grossing Tuesday in domestic history with $42 million USD, topping 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home ($39 million USD). That record follows the film’s historic $47 million USD Monday, which surpassed 2018’s Black Panther ($40 million USD).
The superhero sequel previously established itself as the fastest film to reach $400 million USD in North America, reaching the milestone in four days. It also stands as the second-fastest movie to hit $1 billion USD globally, achieving the feat in six days—behind only 2019’s Avengers: Endgame. The feature debuted to a record $360 million USD domestically and $932 million USD worldwide during its opening weekend.
