NEEDLES delivers a Fall/Winter 2019 lookbook that affirms the Japanese brand’s famously louche designs, elevating the ’70s-inspired looks to a razor focus. Rich colors and patterns pervade the offerings, which vary from revamped wardrobe staples to more tweaks to the brand’s signature tracksuit.

Bold paisley, paint splatter, plaid, floral, leopard and grid patterns — to name only a few — appear throughout the lookbook, accented by plenty of NEEDLES staples, like shearling outerwear and boxy double-breasted jackets. Plush hoodies and satin bombers add a hint of sportswear, with wine-colored Western shirts, bandanas and denim offering an Americana touch. Peace signs and bit loafers reaffirm the ’70s influence while butterfly-branded hoodies and shoes demonstrate the growing appeal for the NEEDLES signature, a leather tracksuit demonstrating of the label’s adventurous next steps.

Check out the looks above and stay tuned for the full offering to hit NEPENTHES outposts by late summer.

Recently, NEEDLES linked up with France’s Paperboy for an exclusive tracksuit.
