adidas Originals to Launch Solo Exhibition Featuring New Keiichi Tanaami Artworks
Marking the first installment of the “adidas gallery.”

adidas Originals will spotlight Keiichi Tanaami for a new exhibition entitled “Tanaami x adidas Originals.” Made in partnership with NANZUKA, the special exhibition marks the first installment under the label’s new artist collaboration project called “adidas gallery.” A total of 16 works on canvas and three-dimensional works will be on display. For these artworks, the influential Japanese artist has reworked the signature “Trefoil Logo” with his psychedelic Pop Art motifs such as skeletal monster figures, space-inspired visuals and traditional folklore references.
Accompanying the fine art pieces is the “ADICOLOR x Tanaami” collection comprised of nine diverse items. Highlights include the Three Stripes’ California T-shirt and the Firebird tracksuit that hasn’t been on store shelves in the past four years. “Tanaami x adidas Originals” will launch to the public starting February 2 at NANZUKA’s Tokyo gallery. Stay tuned for details.
