Watch Jonah Hill & Emma Stone in the First Teaser of Netflix's 'Maniac'
Hitting the streaming service later this year.
After releasing a first look at the new show earlier this year, Netflix has now released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming Maniac series. The trailer focuses on the characters played by Jonah Hill and Emma Stone, with the pair sat opposite each other for the entirety of the short clip. The show is directed by Cary Fukunaga and also features Sonoya Mizuno, Jonah Sally Field, Justin Theroux, Julia Garner and Jemima Kirke.
The trailer reveals little about the plot of the 10-episode project — which is a remake of a 2014 Norwegian series — although Netflix has previously described Maniac as “the story of two strangers who find themselves caught up in a mind-bending pharmaceutical trial gone awry.” Take a look at the first official trailer above, and expect the Maniac to hit Netflix on September 21 this year.
