A ‘Superbad’ reunion.

Slated to drop later this year, Netflix has finally given fans a first look at its forthcoming comedy series reuniting Superbad duo Jonah Hill and Emma Stone.
Directed by Cary Fukunaga, the ten-episode project Maniac, is a remake of a 2014 Norwegian series of the same name. Per Netflix, “Maniac is the story of two strangers who find themselves caught up in a mind-bending pharmaceutical trial gone awry.” Maniac also stars Jonah Sally Field, Justin Theroux, Julia Garner and Jemima Kirke. Stay tuned for an exact release date and peep the photos above.
In the past Fukunaga has written for shows such as HBO’s The Leftovers and FX’s The Bridge, as well as written and directed the critically-acclaimed Beasts of No Nation.
Earlier this month, Netflix announced its plans to ditch Cannes Film Festival after a rule change.
