The Villa Waalre Brings Nature to the Netherlands

The latest home to garner attention is Villa Waalre, which was created by Russell Jones architects. Based just outside of Eindhoven in the Netherlands, the space is a family residence based in a forested Dune landscape. The city, known as Groenfontein (Green Fountain), has a civic policy in order to keep trees populated through the area, with the woodland providing character.
And this character is seen in Villa Waalre, which is based on 7,000 m2 of land. The space was originally occupied by Frans Otten, the son-in-law of Anton Philips. It was also designed by the design director of Phillips, Louis Christiaan Kalff. The new space makes the natural features part of the design, something you can see more of in the gallery above.
