Kanye Adds New Lyric to 'ye' Opener "I Thought About Killing You"
It took less than a week to revise the album.

The listening party to kick off Kanye West‘s headline-grabbing ye only went down just last week and already the creative is tweaking the new album. After Genius broke down the slavery references on “Wouldn’t Leave,” West himself has referenced his statements on slavery with an updated version of album opener “I Though About Killing You.” The clean iteration of the song now includes a new lyric in its final verse: “Sorry but I chose not to be a slave,” a nod to the statements Yeezy made last month at the TMZ offices.

Meanwhile, West is preparing to live stream the premiere of his Kid Cudi collaboration, Kids See Ghosts, while a previously-unreleased Quavo- and Lil Yachty-featuring track surfaced earlier today.
