Bodega Gets Playful with WACKO MARIA's SS18 Collection

Following visuals of PLEASURES, Bodega returns with a new editorial spotlighting WACKO MARIA’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection.
The heritage Japanese imprint’s premium streetwear offerings are given a playful twist when it comes to styling by the Boston-based label coupled with the backdrop reminiscent of a yard sale. Notable cues include an embroidered stadium jacket hung on a broken antique lamp, a coach jacket tied around the waist of a model in an unaligned manner, and a Hawaiian shirt tucked wonkily into a pair of light-wash denim jeans. What can’t be ignored is the label’s intricate graphics embellished on several items that fuse traditional woodblock Japanese imagery with rock-n-roll notions.
