Another Look at Craig Green's Textural Concept Nike Collaboration
Using the React Element 87 sole as a base.

Craig Green debuted a progressive, cutting-edge collection at Pitti Uomo 94, packed with looks that pushed the boundaries of what could be considered “wearable” — in other words, business as usual for Green. When the models weren’t barefoot, they either wore layered plimsolls or a striking Nike collaboration, patched with woven textiles. The concept sneaker, which utilizes a sole similar to the React Element 87, sports colorful panels of technical fabric and mesh, haphazardly arranged around the upper, with red cotton strips interrupting the laces and vamp. Lace loops continue behind the heel, possibly attached to a band on the ankle.
The shoe remains a concept at this point in time, so it won’t be released. Elsewhere, Green rejoined Grenson for more reworked derbies.
