Jersey specialists Reigning Champ has announced its 2nd Vancouver flagship store. Based on Robson street, the space was created by award-winning Canadian architect Peter Cardew, who aimed to “evoke the ethos of the gym, a place of efficiency and activity. A place of clarity with no dark corners. A place of shared well-being, active participation and display.”
The brand launched its first Vancouver space back in 2015, when they first began working with Cardew on its clean and minimalist store spaces. At the time HYPEBEAST spoke to marketing director Doug Barber about the store, which he explained why he wanted the space.
“Having our own space was necessary for a couple reasons. We needed enough space to showcase the line in its entirety. We also wanted to further communicate our brand message — respect the details, master simplicity — through the design and finishing details of the store.”
