Gentle Monster has officially unveiled its newly transformed New York flagship store located at 70 Wooster St. Marking the space’s first complete redesign since opening in 2018, the elevated location re-imagines the eyewear label’s evolving visual universe through a series of immersive art installations.
The updated Soho space marks the first retail location to reveal the “GLOSSY HEAD KINETIC”—a high-shine variation on the brand’s signature Giant Head Kinetic installation featuring three hyper-realistic faces shifting in slow contemplation. Alongside the centerpiece sculpture, the interior introduces “GIRL AND THE FIG,” an interactive display that blends artistic sculpture with human interaction.
Further inside, the space incorporates the “WOODEN MASS,” a large-scale asymmetrical structure designed to disrupt spatial balance, paired with a central spherical LED display animating Gentle Monster’s visual narrative. Alongside the interior re-design, the flagship serves as a physical showcase for the brand’s 2026 releases, including the Veggie, Circuit, and Bouquet collections.
