Dave Chappelle has announced a run of Fall 2026 arena shows, with a seven-city stretch that lands in Nashville, Charlotte, Toronto, Louisville, Austin, Houston and New York. The comedian closes the run at Madison Square Garden on Friday, November 6, headlining opening night of the 22nd annual New York Comedy Festival, which spreads ten days of programming across the city from November 6 to 15.

The dates open October 20 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville and move through Charlotte’s Spectrum Center, Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Austin’s Moody Center and Houston’s Toyota Center before the MSG finale. The festival-closing slot gives the run a marquee endpoint, with the New York Comedy Festival positioning Chappelle’s set as the launch of its 2026 edition.

Caroline Hirsch, founder and owner of the New York Comedy Festival, framed the booking as a highlight of the lineup. “Dave is one of the defining comedians of his generation and, without question, one of the greatest stand-up comedians of all time,” she said. “To have Dave close out his tour by opening our festival is spectacular.”

One thing to know before heading in: every show on the run is a phone-free experience. Phones, smartwatches and accessories are not permitted in the performance space and get secured in individual Yondr pouches on arrival. Guests keep their devices the whole time and can use them only in designated Phone Use Areas, but anything must be re-pouched before returning to the room, and anyone caught using a device during the set will be escorted out.
