Nike Announces Air Max 270-Inspired Art Galleries
Just in time for Air Max Day.

With Air Max Day right around the corner, Nike is celebrating in a major way. A trio of Air Max 270-centric installations will be set up in three major cities, with an array of artists tapped to provide unique art.
With “Air Moves” galleries queued up for Los Angeles and New York, Nike has appropriately sourced artwork from a host of local creatives, sidestepping the controversies of H&M. Ranging from Adam Lucas, no longer known as Hanksy, to child artist Dear Giana, the contributing artists range from graffiti veterans to low-key illustrators. Each piece takes inspiration from, or centers around, the new Air Max 270 — some pieces deconstruct the sneaker or show it in action, while others reimagine it in a variety of colors, textures and shapes.
Nike offers a closer look at the artists and art with distinct posts for its Los Angeles and New York galleries. We have the dates and locations for each below. Meanwhile, take a closer look at the multiple colorways of ACRONYM’s collaborative Air VaporMax Moc.
