Zlatan Ibrahimovic Announces LA Galaxy MLS Signing
‘God’ simply said “You’re welcome.”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, former Manchester United striker, announced his move to LA Galaxy with a full-page advert in Friday’s edition of the LA Times. The ego-driven advert read just five words: “Dear Los Angeles, You’re welcome.” The 36-year-old soccer player, who has been known to equate himself to God, closed a two-year deal for $3 million USD, according to ESPN. Although Ibrahimovic will not be a designated player, it will be interesting to compare his role to David Beckham’s while on the LA Galaxy. Moreover, despite being one of Sweden’s top performers in the past, the decorated footballer is not listed on the Sweden National Team roster for this year’s World Cup.
Peep the advert below and listen to the ESPN update. To learn more, watch Zlatan deliver 29 goals from 2016 – 2018 thanks to several assists from his heavyweight team.
