The Nike Air Force 1 & Air Jordan 1 Receive Makeovers From Steve Harrington
Featuring his recognizable “Tropic” palm trees.

As Nike aims to take over Los Angeles for this year’s All-Star Weekend, followers can expect a ton of drops in addition to collaborations and activations aside from the expected athletic events. The Swoosh and LA native artist Steve Harrington have joined forces to create a one-of-a-kind experience through its “Makers Studio” at the Nike Grove Flagship as a part of the many events mentioned.
The joint project includes custom designs for the Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 1 in addition to apparel and a selection of large murals in celebration of the event. Harrington’s pop-art aesthetic is incorporated onto the Swoosh logos in addition to the side paneling, depending on the design chosen.
Nike’s “Makers Studio” is currently open until February 20 where Harrington will be on-site assisting customers in their creative process. Take a look at some of his designs above and let us know if you plan on purchasing the other offerings during All-Star weekend.
