You Can Now Watch Live News on Apple TV App

Part of the company’s continued expansion plans for the app.

Apple has been adding new functions to its TV app, the newest of which being the ability to watch live news on it. The feature was first shown back in September when the company announced its plans for 4K and now it’s live, thanks to a recent update.

The first channels available on the app are CNN, CBS, Fox News, Bloomberg, CNBC, and Cheddar, all of which are watchable through the ‘Watch Now’ section of the app on iOS and tvOS 11.2.5. The update follows the December addition, which added the ability to watch live sports to the application.

Prior to that upgrade, the app also added Amazon Prime Video as part of its continuing expansion plans.
