'The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part' Latest Trailer Goes Intergalactic
The trailer even pokes fun at Chris Pratt’s career choices.
The previous trailer saw the crew in a Mad Max setting, but the newest trailer for The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part showcases our cast of bricks in the outer reaches of space. In the footage above, we see Emmet, Wyldstyle, Batman, Benny, and Unikitty five years after the original movie (as much time that’s passed in-between film releases) traveling to another galaxy to save the world once again.
After Wyldstyle and her friends are kidnapped by Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi (Tiffany Haddish), it’s up to Emmet (Chris Pratt) to save the day. There will also be a new macho action hero character named Rex that the film will bounce themes of gender issues off of, specifically, how toys tend to be marketed differently to boys and girls.
