We're Thankful For Just Don, LeBron and Victor Cruz In This Week's Footwear Drops
This week sees the release of Nike SB’s “Rivalry” Pack, the YEEZY 350 “Sesame” and much more.

With Thanksgiving being served up this week in the States, it’s time for us to look back on the year and contemplate what we’re grateful for, and being the HYPEBEASTs we are, we’re thankful for another monster year in sneaker releases. And with another six weeks left in 2018, we still have a lot to look forward to, including this week’s selection of performance-based models, retro revamps and brand new silhouettes.

Nike LeBron 16 “I Promise”

LeBron James‘ sixteenth signature sneaker drops in a new ”I Promise” colorway, inspired by James’ foundation and dedication to his community. Sporting bright blue, green and orange on the outsole, the black BattleKnit 2.0 upper nods to the King’s mantras, including ”SFG”– Strive For Greatness –and “Just a Kid from Akron.” Lastly, the heels incorporate ”We Are Family” on the left and “The LeBron James Family Foundation” on the right, while an iridescent Swoosh completes the design.
Nike SB “Rivals Pack”

Nike SB‘s “Rivalry Pack” pits the Air Jordan 11 against the Air Foamposite One with two of its staple models. Inspired by the 1995 NBA Eastern Conference finals where Jordan and the Bulls lost to Penny and the Magic, the Zoom Dunk High and Air Force 2 low channel each players’ signature footwear from that famous series. The Dunk High sports a Bred-like colorway with patent leather overlays, while the AF2 features a molded synthetic upper with a metallic blue finish.
Nike Air Force 1 Mid “V. Cruz”

Victor Cruz‘s Nike Air Force 1 Mid returns after last year’s limited AF-100 drop. Decorated in gold accents, the reworked Nike classic sees premium leather on its “Triple White” iteration and buttery suede on the “Vachetta Tan” version. Nods to New York City and his playing days are spread throughout each model, giving it a Cruz stamp of approval.
PUMA Clyde Court “Purple Glow”

The third colorway of PUMA’s Clyde Court model arrives in “Purple Glow.” Keeping it simple, the knitted tonal black upper helps tame the vibrant purple outsole and translucent midsole. As for its design details, PUMA’s cat insignia appears on each heel, while “PUMA” and “1973” are stamped on the tongue and heel tabs in a contrasting white.
adidas Originals “Bluebird” Pack

Some of adidas‘ relatively new models connect to form the “Bluebird” pack. Four silhouettes in total, you’ll find the POD-S3.1, EQT Support 91/18, Deerupt and EQT Support Mid, all boasting a mix of “Core Black/Core Black-Bluebird” throughout. Lastly, each pair adds its own industrial-like stamp at the mid-foot area.
PUMA CELL Endura “Patent 98”

PUMA‘s latest CELL Endura installment takes on a “Patent 98” moniker. The retro runner uses subtle blue accents to complement its multi-layered white base, while black patent leather is incorporated down its eyestays. Minimal PUMA branding is shared throughout the sneaker in areas such as its tongue tab and heel, just above the CELL insignia.
adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “Sesame”

For this “Sesame” colorway, the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2‘s original design cues remain intact thanks to its Primeknit upper, matching heel tabs, and BOOST cushioning. The aforementioned upper incorporates a tonal theme of washed khaki, while the model’s signature “SPLY-350” stamp is removed from its expected location on the upper.
Nike Kyrie 5 “Blk Mgc”

Kyrie Irving turns the page to his next signature sneaker with the Kyrie 5. The Kyrie 4 saw numerous colorways, from a collaboration with General Mills to a Nike SB-inspired “Green Lobster” edition. However this time around, “Uncle Drew’s” Venus flytrap-inspired model kicks things off in a simple “Blk Mgc” colorway, just before it releases in the camo-dominated “Taco” edition.
Just Don x Converse ERX

Chicago’s Don C expands his collaborative portfolio with the busy Converse ERX. The old-school basketball model welcomes a few premium upgrades in the form of patchworked pony hair, leopard prints and gold hardware. You’ll also find multicolored “DONS” branding as a playful twist to the iconic “CONS” logo.
