Antwerp-based photographer Willy Vanderperre has made a name for his influential role in producing unforgettable imagery of Raf Simons‘ brand, along with work for other major labels like CALVIN KLEIN, Dior and Prada. Vanderperre has preferred to stay behind the camera lens, but has teamed with local boutique VIER for a limited capsule collaboration, hitting stores at the tail end of Vanderperre’s favorite month: October.
Dubbed “T-Shirts, Stickers, Pins and More,” the capsule includes everything from pins and patches to tees and totes, with plenty of thematic graphics emblazoned on each. Along with specially-chosen photographs, graphics exude hometown pride (“ANTWERP”) while other prints coincide with the stores that stock the release. Black, blue, red and white hues serve as the base for the prints, placing the emphasis on the imagery over off-kilter design, which include four specific snapshots: Stadspark, Cathedral of Our Lady (both located in his native Antwerp), the Jan Fabre company and a still image from Vanderperre’s Naked Heartland film and book.
Shop the limited collection on VIER’s web site and physical store or via The Broken Arm Paris, Slam Jam Milan and Dover Street Market’s global outposts on November 1.
Vanderperre recently shot the Kardashian clan for CALVIN KLEIN Jeans.
