Theophilus London & Tame Impala Debut Retro-Minded "Only You" Video
A rework of a 1984 classic.
In recent weeks, Theophilus London and Tame Impala architect Kevin Parker have been debuting new music together; they even introduced their collaborative project at a special live show. Now, the two talented stars are back with a new single and video.
Specifically, Theophilus London and Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker have connected for “Only You.” The single was originally premiered by Virgil Abloh, who debuted the recorded on his Beats 1 Radio program. “Only You” comes to us courtesy of a retro-inspired visual, and is billed as a contemporary interpretation of Nigerian artist Steve Monite’s 1984 classic “Only You.” Several more collaborative efforts from Theophilus London and Kevin Parker are also on the way, while London’s new studio album will arrive in the first half of 2019. Kevin Parker is also working on several other high-profile releases.
