'Final Fantasy IX' Announced for PlayStation 4, Is Available Now

One of the finest installments in the Final Fantasy franchise has made its debut on PlayStation 4. Shortly after a trailer for the remaster debuted at Tokyo Game Show it was announced the game is available today in Japan and North America on the PlayStation Store.

This enhanced version of Final Fantasy IX includes HD quality cutscenes, trophy support and boosters that allow you to level up and master weapons faster akin to cheat codes. The game also includes a PS4 theme and a set of player icons. Final Fantasy IX is on sale for $16.79 until September 26, when it will sell for its normal price of $20.99.
